Two cards are read as one sentence: the first sets the condition and the second says what is being done about it. The Lovers and The Empress together read differently from either card alone.
The Lovers represent profound choices, harmonious partnerships, and the alignment of values with actions. This card signifies a pivotal decision that requires following your heart while maintaining integrity and authenticity. It encourages embracing love in all its forms and recognizing the sacred bonds connecting us all.
The Empress embodies abundance, fertility, and the creative force that nurtures all life into beautiful expression. She represents the mother archetype who provides unconditional support for growth and manifestation. This card invites you to connect with nature and allow creativity to flow through you effortlessly.
Read in sequence, this combination describes a movement from The Lovers towards The Empress.
Combinations are read in context — the question asked and the neighbouring cards decide which reading is live.

Combinations are not read as positive or negative in isolation. What matters is the question and the position in the spread.
Usually yes. Read as a sequence, the first card sets the condition and the second shows the direction.
Reversed usually means the energy is internal, delayed or blocked. Apply that to that card only, then read the pair.
