The common failure mode is simple: you keep saying yes to a small thing that costs you a large one. It rarely announces itself — it shows up as a small delay that quietly becomes the shape of the day. The counterweight is to decide once, early, and then stop re-deciding.
Do this: Send the message you have been drafting and stop improving it. Then come back to the task that keeps sliding to tomorrow and finish the smallest honest version of it. 2026-10-02 is one day in a ninety-day rolling archive — nothing here is a verdict, and tomorrow's page is written fresh. Take the part that matched what you could actually see, act on that, and let the rest go.
2026-10-02 falls on the 己酉 day (Earth 己, a Rooster day) — a neutral pairing with the Goat. That makes today neutral — nothing in the day pillar pushes or blocks the Goat, so your own rhythm sets the pace. On the practical side, finish the task that is already eighty percent done before starting anything new.
