What skills or hobbies could I monetize? A good answer could involve leveraging your unique talents.

How the Monkey Handles Money on a Day Like This

the Monkey tends to bring clever and playful to money, which is both the advantage and the blind spot. Most of what goes right today will come from leaning into that rather than fighting it, and most of what goes wrong will come from applying it somewhere it does not belong.

Where Today Could Slip

The common failure mode is simple: you solve someone else’s problem because it is easier than facing your own. It rarely announces itself — it shows up as a small delay that quietly becomes the shape of the day. The counterweight is to decide once, early, and then stop re-deciding.

Three Moves for Money Today

• Take the first visible step on the thing you have been rehearsing.
• Give the number you have not looked at yet ten undistracted minutes before the day gets claimed by other people.
• Do the five-minute version now; you can extend it later.

If It Slips Anyway

Do this: Send the message you have been drafting and stop improving it. Then come back to the number you have not looked at yet and finish the smallest honest version of it. 2026-10-04 is one day in a ninety-day rolling archive — nothing here is a verdict, and tomorrow's page is written fresh. Take the part that matched what you could actually see, act on that, and let the rest go.

Today's Day Pillar and the Monkey

2026-10-04 falls on the 辛亥 day (Metal 辛, a Pig day) — a neutral pairing with the Monkey. That makes today neutral — nothing in the day pillar pushes or blocks the Monkey, so your own rhythm sets the pace. On the practical side, write down the reason for a purchase before you make it.
