The Dog's loyalty guides you in making a financial decision today. You're at a friend's house, and they're asking for a loan. Your Dog's loyalty makes you consider the request, but you also think about the potential risks. According to Chinese tradition, this balanced approach is wise.

⚠️ Watch Out For Today

Keeping your financial worries to yourself, which can lead to stress and poor decisions.

💬 What to Say Today

I'll share my financial goals with someone I trust today.

🧭 One Question to Sit With

How can I create a support system for my financial journey? A good answer could involve finding a mentor or joining a financial group.

How the Dog Handles Money on a Day Like This

the Dog tends to bring loyal and honest to money, which is both the advantage and the blind spot. Most of what goes right today will come from leaning into that rather than fighting it, and most of what goes wrong will come from applying it somewhere it does not belong.

Where Today Could Slip

The common failure mode is simple: you restart instead of finishing, and call it a fresh start. It rarely announces itself — it shows up as a small delay that quietly becomes the shape of the day. The counterweight is to decide once, early, and then stop re-deciding.

Three Moves for Money Today

• Take the first visible step on the thing you have been rehearsing.
• Give the number you have not looked at yet ten undistracted minutes before the day gets claimed by other people.
• Tell someone what you intend to do — accountability beats intention.

If It Slips Anyway

Do this: Send the message you have been drafting and stop improving it. Then come back to the number you have not looked at yet and finish the smallest honest version of it. 2026-10-04 is one day in a ninety-day rolling archive — nothing here is a verdict, and tomorrow's page is written fresh. Take the part that matched what you could actually see, act on that, and let the rest go.

Today's Day Pillar and the Dog

2026-10-04 falls on the 辛亥 day (Metal 辛, a Pig day) — a neutral pairing with the Dog. That makes today neutral — nothing in the day pillar pushes or blocks the Dog, so your own rhythm sets the pace. On the practical side, write down the reason for a purchase before you make it.
